Ground Combat & Territory Borders Revamped

This week's updates brought significant improvements to Stellar Throne's polish and readability. Ground combat now features strength bars displayed above forces, enhancing clarity during planetary invasions. Ownership updates correctly following successful invasions, and invasion final phases execute as designed.

Combat enhancements include a fully rendered battlefield grid, centered fleet starting positions, and map panning via left-click dragging. Support ships display plus-shaped icons, colony ships use circles, and troop ships have been renamed for clarity. Empty fleets are automatically removed post-combat to reduce visual clutter.

Beyond combat, draggable interface panels (shipyard, diplomacy, bombardment) were consolidated under a new DraggablePanel base class, improving interface fluidity. Loading screens respond more quickly, and territory borders dynamically refresh after colonization. The border system itself received a complete redesign utilizing shaders, enabling more sophisticated visual effects.

The update represents meaningful progress toward realizing Stellar Throne as a complete 4X strategy experience.
