Bugs, Battles, and a Bit of Scroll Sorcery

Today was a tale of two projects — one in the depths of space, the other in the heart of the classroom.

Stellar Throne — The Bug War

Work on Stellar Throne involved navigating technical challenges. The primary issue involved the Combat UI's combat log, which unexpectedly controlled battlefield zoom functionality. The fix restructured the screen infrastructure and applied the same solution to the starmap.

Additional combat-related issues addressed:

  • Unexplained ship damage occurring spontaneously
  • Input detection failures following combat sequences
  • Visual persistence of destroyed vessel sprites

ClaudeCraft — Building the Blueprint

Development progressed on ClaudeCraft, an instructional course focused on AI-assisted game development. Accomplishments included completing teaching guides for modules 7-10, refining course structure to emphasize Claude-specific workflows, and expanding to 11 modules with supplementary material.

A visual roadmap was created, solidifying the course concept. The course's structural foundation remains strong, with an active waitlist at ClaudeCraft.com.
